MASERU - Standard Lesotho Bank launched its Business and Private banking branch at Pioneer Mall on Thursday last week.

Speaking at the occasion, the bank’s Managing Director Roger Snelgar said the branch is the first of its kind in the world within the Standard Bank Group.

MAPUTSOE - The Sales Division of Astoria Bakery allayed customers’ fears regarding the price increase of bread following a notice issued by Lesotho Flour Mills indicating that wheat meal prices are set to increase this month.

During an interview with Informative Thato Ramokotjo from Astoria Maputsoe said even though the notice has been issued the price of bread will remain the same.

Phase 2 Water Project to boost Lesotho’s economy PDF Print E-mail

MASERU - Lesotho will get around $45 million per annum from royalties which will be collected after the completion of the Phase 2 water project.

According to LS Tromp, an engineer for the Lesotho Highlands Water Commission, at the moment, they are trying to raise M12 million for the project.
