The Central Bank of Lesotho is inviting candidature from suitably qualified Basotho nationals for the position of Clubhouse Manager at The Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre, Maseru.

This is a managerial position at the Head of Section level. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Clubhouse of the Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre and will report to the General Manager- Lehakoe Recreation and Cultural Centre.
The successful candidate shall be appointed on a five- year fixed-term contract.
1. JOB PURPOSE
To lead the Clubhouse into making it a venue of choice for meals, conference hosting whilst ensuring that standards for efficient and effective management of the Club House are maintained.
2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the following:
a) To actively link all sub-sections under his/her supervision in order to achieve the objectives of the Clubhouse.
b) To set proper and efficient systems of operation for all sub-sections under his/her supervision which include the kitchen, the Bar, the Restaurant and Banqueting.
c) To set service objectives by constantly training staff and managing the training plan in consultation with the Human Resources Manager.
d) To ensure that the policies and procedures of the Clubhouse are observed.
e) To produce periodic reports on the management and activities of the Clubhouse.
f) To promote the Club's programs and events and develop the seasonal promotional plans.
g) To produce quarterly progress reports on the work of the section.
h) To appraise and complete staff work performance reports in the section.
3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent is required to have relevant working experience to qualify for this job and must be in possession of
· BA in Hotel Management or Equivalent
· Managerial experience of at least five (5) years
· Certification with nationally recognized hospitality and catering organizations
· Computer Literacy
OR
· Diploma in Hospitality Management or Equivalent
· Hospitality Managerial experience of at least seven (7) years
· Certification with nationally recognized hospitality and catering organizations
· Computer Literacy
